What is the difference between a fishtail braid and a normal plait?

The difference is, that, with a plait you seperate the hair into 3 sections, but with the fishtail plait, you only seperate it into 2 halves.

Here's an easy trick for long, loose waves!

Tie your hair in a french plait and then twist it round into a bun.

Try not to tie the elastic too tight, otherwise it will leave noticeable creases in your hair. Make the bun and braid loose.

Tie it up before you go bed, and sleep on it, then take it out in the morning.

Here is a step by step guide to Taylor Swift’s cat eyeliner look.
Step I

To begin with, prime your lids by applying a light-shade eyeshadow allover your lid and brow bone, using eyeshadow as the base for shadow and eyeliner application will ensure crispy upshots.

Step II

Glitter Blue EyeShadow: For party occasions!

The main ingredients that will be needed are:

Eyeshadows

Crystal Ball, Pompadour, blue glitter, any black-crème eyeshadow and Treasure Chest.

Eyes

eyeshadow primer, blue pencil eyeliner, mascara
Start sporting this look with the application of mascara. Use a quality eye curler to curl the lashes and then put on three mascara coatings to top as well as bottom eyelashes and let it dry out. After it get fully dry, curl the lashes again.
Now, apply an eyeshadow primer to your lids and brush Pompadour over the entire lid using a larger makeup brush. Then cover your brow bone with Crystal Ball and blend it thoroughly into Pompadour.
Though slack glitters render more sparkling effect to your eyes but it is very tricky and sometimes very tough to get loose glitter hold over the eyes. For creating a base that can hold-on glitter for long, it’s advisable to use crème eyeshadow. Coat you top eyelids with eyeshadow and spread it over the whole lid with a sponge or ring finger moving in upward and outward direction. Draw an outline with a thin brush and for filling use a bigger brush.

Create a Good Foundation

Regardless of the number of eyeshadow colors you’re going to use, creating a good, dry base for the eye makeup application is the first step. As powder eyeshadows sit best on an even, dry eyelid, so you will want to prepare your lids with powder foundation. Just smooth a little product over your eyelids and eye area and you are ready to go.
You may also want to cover your lids with a nude-colored cream eyeshadow to make you makeup lasting. First dab on a thin layer and then dust a little translucent powder over it.

Adding the Color

Once your lids ate ready, you can add colors. Always begin with the lighter shade on the bottom and apply it allover your eyelid. Darker shades should always be for the top, it’s always necessary to keep this order as the reverse order is wrong. Apply the darker shade along the fold of your eyelid in a half moon kind of shape and you’re ready for blending.

Basic Blending Tips

Always use brush applicators to blend the shadows since brushes don’t absorb or take the colors away from your eyelid as finger or sponge applicator does.
Blend in upward direction or downwards, whatever you find easier. The direction of blending does not matter, provided that you concentrate your efforts in the place where it’s exactly needed: between the two colors!
Use separate brushes for working with different colors. If you’ve only one brush, make sure to clean it with a tissue-paper between each color.
Build your colors little by little. First dab on a little color, and add more if necessary.

How To Cut Your Fringe: Nazy :)

Fringes can work for any face shape:

Longer face shapes tend to suit long, slightly-curved styles that sit across the brow
Smaller face shapes tend to suit either short, choppy fringes or side-swept numbers that follow the line of the cheekbones and side of the face

How to Cut Your Fringe:
Use professional-grade scissors - or the sharpest ones you can find.
Never cut the fringe wet as it will shrink when it dries and you will not be able to guide how much to cut off. Instead, cut the fringe when the hair is dry and clean.
Snip small pieces at a time, millimeter by millimeter; less is definitely more.
Slant the scissors and use the tips of the blades rather than the length of the scissor – this will give you a softer result.

Hello, It's Nazy, and i'm here to help, about bullying, and other things. Please do ask me questions, in the comment box below, and I assure you i'll help! Today i'm focusing on the most 'asked' bullying questions. So, do ask, I hope I help, and if you have any bullying stories you'd like to share, do so. We will most assuring not share out who you are, so, we will write you as annonymous.~Nazy

What is bullying? Bullying is when somebody hurts you physically, or virtually, and does it over and over again.

I think i'm being bullied what do I do? Tell someone of course! Eventhough you are unsure - telling is always right. Tip from a Expirencer: Don't try to physically hurt them, or virtually, either. It ALWAYS makes it worse.
How long can bullying go on for? Almost forever. A bully's aim is to get you to hurt yourself. Don't listen to them. And, people like Amanda Todd who was bullied, the bully stayed until she was dead.
Does age make a difference? Nope. No matter how old you are, bullies still bully people.But at the age of toddlering, bullies don't come just yet.
Is it most likley for teenagers to get bullied? No, actually, it's likley that any child can get bullied. Whether your teenager, or not, you are all likley to get bullied.

Brittain's oldest man DIES?!

After dodging Japanese shells in Burma and witnessing the rise and fall of 24 prime ministers, Britain's oldest man has died aged 110 years and 63 days, thanks, perhaps, to a mysterious brown elixir administered decades ago by a Bombay doctor.
Reg Dean, who was born in Tunstall, Staffordshire, on 4 November 1902, inherited the mantle from Stanley Lucas, who died in 2010 aged 110.
The former United Reformed Church minister, who died on Saturday, attributed his longevity to a combination of laziness and the potion he was given by the physician in India. "He said, 'If you drink this you will live for ever' – and this is the result," he told the Derbyshire Times last year.
Asked by the BBC how he felt as he reached 110 – an event marked with a public concert – he replied: "A year older than when I was 109!"
He said all the fuss over his last birthday was "very kind", adding: "I did not expect it, and of course I shall have another one when I am 130."
Dean, who worked as a teacher and then a minister until he retired at 80, told the Derbyshire Times he though he would lose his life during the second world war. "I'm lucky to be here," he said. "When I was a chaplain in Burma I remember there was shell fire many times – I think they were trying to get me."
In 1958 he became a teacher at Herbert Strutt school in Belper, Derbyshire, where he worked for 10 years.
The father-of-one, from Wirksworth in Derbyshire, moved to the county in 1947, after living for a short period in Stratford-on-Avon.
His death was announced by the Dalesmen male voice choir, which he helped launch in the 1980s, and of which he was life president.
Dean had been living for some years at Waltham House, an extra care scheme for older people run by Housing 21.
Helen Hart, locality manager for Housing 21 said: "We are very sad to hear of the death of Reg Dean. He was an inspiration to us all and will be greatly missed."

Makeup Tutorial: Colourful Arabic Eye

Below I have shown how t complete the incredible arabian eye.

As always, start with priming your eye:

Use bright green base for lid (I used Limelight paint I got from Aromaleigh, but MAC Shadesticks, NYX Jumbo pencils etc will work, as long as it's bright light green.
Then I used an orange base for crease and above I used MUFE Aqua cream #10, but again any bright orange will do.

Use bright light green eyeshadow to lid (I used MUFE #304):

Add some dark color to outer V and crease (MUFE #40 in my case):

Then add bright yellow to inner corner:

Add some more dark to crease with blending brush:

Then line your waterline and upper lashline with black liner, create the "arab shape" using winged liner:

Line your lower lashline with teal liner. Leave inner and outer corner "open" (MUFE Aqua Eyes 12L)

Then add MUFE #83 over the teal liner (or ie. MAC parrot):

Then add long false eyelashes:

Finished look:

The model I used was called Anya, who is Arabian, and wanted to be my model, so all well done to Anya!

Geek Eyewear witnessed a popularity surge after stars, like Lebron James, Kevan Durant, and Dwyane Wade, began wearing the frames to post-game press conferences. Russell Westbrook claims to have started this trend. He may have started it in the NBA, but it traces back way before he was even born. Nerdy glasses began in the 1950’s when Buddy Holly wore them on stage, becoming the first young performer to wear glasses while performing. These glasses became a huge part of his performing identity and left a lasting impression on pop culture.

After seeing Holly perform on the TV show Sunday Night at the London Palladium, another rock-and-roll superstar came out with his signature glasses. One certain subject has caught my attention.

Bullying.

It's an awful thing and it happens to at least 2 in every 4 teenagers.

I admit, I have been bullied once in a while, and it does hurt.

Take this old saying for example:
'Sticks and Stones may break my bones but names shall never hurt me'
What a lie.
Yes, names do hurt.
If I had a pound for every "Slut, bitch and whore' nuisance I get, I'd be a MILLIONAIRE.

There is one person I'd like to use as a prime example.

Yep, it's Amanda Todd.

This girl went and commited suicide from the awful harrassment she was receiving.
