Fringes can work for any face shape:
- Longer face shapes tend to suit long, slightly-curved styles that sit across the brow
- Smaller face shapes tend to suit either short, choppy fringes or side-swept numbers that follow the line of the cheekbones and side of the face
How to Cut Your Fringe:
- Use professional-grade scissors - or the sharpest ones you can find.
- Never cut the fringe wet as it will shrink when it dries and you will not be able to guide how much to cut off. Instead, cut the fringe when the hair is dry and clean.
- Snip small pieces at a time, millimeter by millimeter; less is definitely more.
- Slant the scissors and use the tips of the blades rather than the length of the scissor – this will give you a softer result.
