Three Super Easy Ways to Take Off Waterproof Mascara

When it comes to mascara that can stay on for long without smudging and smearing, waterproof mascara is the best choice. It adds to the beauty of your eyes by making your lashes look fuller and longer plus it stays put quite some time. But the biggest problem with waterproof mascara is that it can be a bit challenging to remove it after a long day. Here are some super-easy ways to take away the obstinate waterproof mascara.

Baby oil

Baby oil is a recognized way to remove stubborn waterproof mascara. Get some baby oil onto a cotton ball and place it on the bottom side of your lashes, with eye closed of course. Afterward wipe the lashes with the cotton ball until they are clean. It should be used very carefully since the petroleum present in baby oil can hamper your eyes.

Petroleum jelly

Petroleum jelly can also be quite helpful in taking off waterproof mascara easily and properly. Using your fingers dab on some petroleum jelly onto your lashes and let it sit for almost five minutes before removing with a cotton ball dipped in tepid water. Be wary while applying the product to your lashes so that it doesn’t get into your eyes.

Olive oil

It is arguably the easiest way to get rid of waterproof mascara. All you need to do is to dab some coconut oil on a clean cotton ball or pad and hold it onto your eyelashes for one minute so that it can soften up the mascara. Finally rinse your eyes with lukewarm water. Alternatively you can use olive oil. It is also as helpful in removing waterproof mascara as coconut oil is.
